Padel & getting started
Are rental rackets available on site?
Yes. You can bring your own rackets and balls or rent them from us for a small fee. To get started you only need sportswear and clean indoor shoes – you don’t have to buy anything.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Padel is popular precisely because beginners can join in right away. If you’d like to start with no experience at all, our beginner lessons for absolute beginners are the best place to begin.
How many people do you need?
Classically you play doubles, so four. As the first in Bremen we also have a single court for 1-on-1. No playing partners? You’ll quickly find some for any level in our community.
What do I need to bring?
Sportswear, clean indoor shoes, a water bottle and a good mood. Rackets and balls are available to rent from us.
Booking, prices & Epassi
How do I book a court?
Booking runs online via Playtomic. You see every free slot there in real time and book your doubles or single court in a few clicks – around the clock.
What does padel cost with you?
You see the current prices right at checkout on Playtomic – they depend on court, day and time.
I have Epassi – how do I get my free hour?
With Epassi (formerly Hansefit) you play 1 hour of padel free – per person. Just send us an email at info@padelking-bremen.de and we’ll sign you up. On site you additionally scan the Epassi QR code. The exact process is currently being finalised and may still change. At present the offer applies exclusively to Epassi.
Are there beginner lessons for newcomers?
Yes, there are regular beginner lessons on fixed days as well as dedicated ladies’ sessions just for women. We’ll announce the exact days and times soon.
Opening hours & getting here
What are your opening hours?
We have been open since Sept 1, 2026: Monday to Thursday 06:00–23:00, Friday 06:00–24:00, Saturday 07:00–24:00 and Sunday 07:00–23:00. The big opening party with tournament, snacks and loads of padel takes place on Sept 6 – for beginners and advanced players, with registration. We’ll announce the registration link soon.
Where can I find you and is there parking?
You’ll find us at Soccer King in Bremen-Habenhausen, Steinsetzerstraße 21, 28279 Bremen. There’s parking right outside.
What else is there besides padel on site?
At Soccer King everything is under one roof: the Sky Sportspub with live sport, functional training, EMS and CrossFit as well as changing rooms, showers and parking.
